Giving it 3 stars because it is not a public attraction, even though it shows up in nearby landmarks.
Great drive on a dirt road, take it easy and be safe. Seatbelt on and enjoy the up hill smooth climb. Once atop you will be wowed and silence to checkout the view. I did see a look out tower for wild fire, i supposed you can visit the post.
The road that leads to it is a narrow unpaved switch back without guard rails. You want a high clearance vehicle, and have to be prepared to hug the cliff to let people by. Expect possible scratches from thorny vegetation.
There are several trailheads at the top as well as a campground, but unless you are hiking or dead set on car camping at 9000ft, it isn't worth a visit.
